Every strand of human hair is unique with the owners DNA, the idea of hair growing and falling represents the time passing and growing. Each and every one tells the experience of a person. In Chinese culture, hair also represents worries. People take so much care of their hair when they are in their head, but when they fall off from our body; they suddenly turn into trash.

My hair becomes the signature of myself. I put my hair in a jar, and the hair inside overlaps and intersects with each other creating a fresh form. The form changes everytime I put more hair inside, also changing the shadow under different lighting and time. The jar narrates a story of myself day by day, and the brushstroke shows the history of my touch on the painting. Through the brushstrokes, the painting becomes something that truly represents my identity.
